Air Quality Lab Testing Facilities – Ryco Air Quality

Air Quality Lab Testing Facilities

Ingenuity and innovation have been grounding principles of RYCO Filters since the company’s formation in 1936, in fact you can say it is in our DNA.

Further enhancing its reputation as a filtration specialist and advancing its research, development, and testing capabilities RYCO has a purpose-built air filter test system produced in conjunction with German particle and aerosol analysis specialists, TOPAS and Australian laboratory instrumentation supplier Lafetch.

TOPAS, who has supplied more than eighty-five of its state-of-the-art automated filter media test rigs worldwide and worked with RYCO to enhance the abilities of its ABP 115 to examine the performance of filtration elements beyond the limits specified by international standards.

The air filter test system evaluates air filters to a high degree of accuracy including particle counting to measure the exact size of particles that permeate filter media. This ensures the most accurate data (including micron ratings) available when designing, analysing, and producing the next generation of filters.

Based in Altona North, Victoria the RYCO Filters laboratory stands alone in the market by offering even more stringent quality analysis than specified by international test standards ISO 5011. The laboratory is recognised as the best-in-market, giving the Australian company a thorough understanding of the unique demands placed on filtration elements operating in Australia’s harsh environs.
